A dear high school friend of mine, Lisa, recently got hitched in her native Louisville, KY to a wonderful guy, Andrew. I was so excited to attend Lisa's wedding and honored to sing "Ave Maria" at their ceremony. Lisa is the first of our friends to get married, and being that I am getting married next, I hung on her every word throughout her wedding process. And, you just wait until you see this absolutely stunning wedding planned by Lisa's mom, Mrs. Diane and Lisa. I don't know how Lisa had time to sleep during this past year! She was in school full time completing her nursing degree, helping her family sell their house in Louisiana, taking care of her adorable 2 year old son Gavin, and oh yeah, planning a wedding! Lisa is such an amazing person, and a wonderful friend. I admire her so much for all she's accomplished so far - Lord knows she's only getting started!
The wedding was absolute perfection down to every last detail. The ceremony was at St. Agnes Church where Andrew attended middle school with cocktails and reception at the iconic The Brown Hotel. Lisa's dress was amazing!! She wore a classic A-line silhouette with gorgeous lace and beading detail. Her bridemaids wore peach cocktail dresses that was the perfect summer color. The groomsmen were in black tuxedos with matching peach bow-ties and vests. The wedding was SO MUCH FUN! Everyone had a blast dancing all night long. For the couple's send off, all the siblings arranged for a surprise horse and carriage ride. It was so incredibly sweet and a great way to end the night. I'm so happy to be able to show everyone my friends gorgeous June wedding and highlight all the lovely details!
Lisa's ADORABLE son, Gavin! He totally stole the show!
