Pretty, Bright and Everything Nice

Ah, summer.  How sweet are you?  Taking the blistering heat out of the equation, summer is my favorite time of year.  In my opinion the fashions are better, parties are too good to be true, and fun is never ending. This Sonoma wedding pretty much proves my point.  I am LOVING how brides are not sticking to a traditional color palette and instead are embracing move vibrant colors.  This event space, Quarryhill, is brand new for Sonoma brides & grooms.  BLR Life Photography & Cinema noted how they "wanted to design a wedding that was attainable for brides and that would inspire them[.]"  It is such a versatile property and is absolutely stunning!  It's a beautiful, romantic, perfect place for a wedding.  Being that Quarryhill is a botanical garden BLR wanted to incorporate that in the overall theme.  The grounds has a vineyard, residential component, breathtaking gardens, a lake and a stunning waterfall.  Seriously, how can one venue have ALL of that?!  It's like they read a brides wish list.  Using in season flowers like ranunculus, peonies, sweet peas, roses, parrot tulips, snapdragons, and viburnum, Nancy Liu Chin designed arrangements that would give the space lots of color and texture.  And I must say, job well done, Nancy!  The florals are unbelievable!!  This wedding is romantic, vibrant, whimsical, and modern all at once.  From the gorgeous iron ceremony chairs with colorful pillows to the oversized metal lanterns and from the huge desert display to the long romantic table setting, this wedding has it all.  The motto of this wedding?  "Eat dessert first".  And I couldn't agree more!!  I think I'll start adopting that motto tonight...

As the bride requests, let's begin with the deserts!

Seriously... How adorable are these kids?!  Ah!
